We are searching for a Digital Design Engineer with an aerospace/defense company based near Carlsbad, CA

You will be responsible for

Assist in troubleshooting and debugging tasks for digital and analog designs
Perform software and hardware design analysis
Develop FPGA and microcontroller code for system control and sensing
Assist in developing GUI for system interfacing
Design DC-DC and/or AC-DC converters for clean power management
Design protection circuitry for system and subsystem assemblies (EMI, overcurrent, TVS, etc.)
Verify and validate software and hardware designs
Perform research and develop solutions for hardware and software issues
Compile formal written reports to communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management
Create, update, and manage test data for use in the various stages of software and hardware testing for complex digital and analog systems
