Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to oversee and optimize our inventory management process across multiple warehouses and distribution centers. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate stock levels, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting our dynamic supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecasting Demand: Analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to predict future demand.
- Inventory Management: Determining optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing holding costs.
- Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP): Working with other departments to align production, sales, and distribution plans.
- Data Analysis: Using analytical tools and software to analyze data and identify trends.
- Collaboration: Communicating with stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Manufacturing.
Skills:
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and identify trends.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management: Understanding of inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
- Experience with Demand Planning Software: Familiarity with tools like SAP, NetSuite, Acumatica.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning, preferably in the food or confectionery industry.
- Located within commuting distance of Easton, PA. This position is on-site at our Easton warehouse/HQ. Relocation assistance will NOT be provided.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Acumatica) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations a plus.
- Turkish language skills a plus
