Job Description
As a Data Solutions Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing databases, applications, and analytics systems across P10’s underlying asset management companies. You will engage with internal stakeholders to design technical roadmaps, define data strategies, and execute solutions within tools such as Salesforce, DealCloud, Tableau, and Power BI. Additionally, you will analyze and troubleshoot technical issues, collaborating with vendors to ensure prompt resolutions and system integrity. Someone that technically minded and collaborative is an ideal candidate for this role.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Maintain open and active communication between the P10 Data Solutions team and affiliates.
- Point person for CRM development work (Salesforce.com and DealCloud).
- Point person for advance reporting and able to build/modify dashboards (PowerBi, Tableau, etc.).
- Responsible for data uploads (Limited Partners Lists, Fundraising Pipelines, etc.)
- Proactively engage P10 affiliates to uncover opportunities for improvement and efficiency and speed by understanding intersection of their businesses and specific functions (i.e. Fundraising, Deal Tracking) with data operations.
- Creative problem-solving skills: can understand affiliate requests and given the knowledge of the data structure suggest solutions (may require topic expert to execute).
- Provide formal project plans and status updates.
- Create and maintain documentation (CRM, Reporting, Processes, etc.)
- Develop an understanding of how affiliates systems integrate with P10’s datalake to be able to make suggestions and implement front end functionality that exchanges data with the datalake.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (Project definition, requirements gathering, solutions engineering, solutions implementation).
- 2+ years of experience working with Dealcloud/Salesforce or other CRMs.
- 2+ years of experience working with advanced reporting software (Tableau, PowerBi, etc.).
- Beginner SQL knowledge (ability to join and build tables).
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Familiarity with Private Capital Markets operations (PE/VC/HF/FO).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
