We are seeking a professional Credentialing Specialist to join a growing team in Liberty, SC . This is a full time, temporary to hire opportunity . The idea candidate will be very detailed oriented and will have 5+ years of experience in credentialing.
Job Description:
- Facilitate pre-filling; send and receive accurate and complete credentialing information
- Track and report progress and perform follow-up activities as needed until provider file is complete
- Maintain accurate, complete, up-to-date records with current state license, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage and any other required credentialing and corporate documents (including contracts) for all providers
- Validate, verify, enter and maintain all provider information in credentialing system
- Track expirations for all provider credentialing documents to ensure timely renewal.
- Process and evaluate applications for initial appointment and reappointment of privileges in accordance with the corporate requirements
- Ensure timely issue and reissue of COI through completion of the insurance application for all assigned providers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 5 + years of relevant credentialing experience required
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred
- Associates degree preferred
Hours:
- Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
- 100% onsite
