Controller – Onsite | Knoxville, TN | Up to $150K
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Controller to join our client's growing team in the Knoxville, TN area. This is a full-time onsite position offering a competitive salary of up to $150,000 , depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations including GL, AR, AP, payroll, and financial reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic financial planning
- Implement and maintain accounting systems and procedures
- Supervise and develop accounting staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Sage, etc.)
- Manufacturing or distribution industry experience a plus
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment
