Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Equipment Coordinator to join the team at our Houston-based office . This is a contract-to-hire opportunity ideal for candidates with basic experience in equipment tracking, vendor coordination, and purchasing—particularly in construction or rental environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate scheduling of vendor and internal appointments
- Utilize ToolWatch to manage and update equipment and tool tracking
- Assist in purchasing and procurement of tools and rental equipment
- Coordinate logistics for heavy construction equipment and rentals
- Support vendor relationships, documentation, and invoice tracking
- Perform general administrative tasks using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Communicate and collaborate with field staff to support project needs
Technical & Physical Requirements:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, ViewPoint, and Oracle
- Experience with ToolWatch is a plus
- 1–3 years’ experience in purchasing, buying, or vendor management preferred
