Concrete Estimator
We are seeking a Concrete Estimator with multi-year experience in the Commercial and Industrial construction markets. This position is based in our Newtongrove, North Carolina (Close to Raleigh, NC) office, that focuses on foundations, slabs, tilt-wall and large-scale elevated structures.
The ideal candidate should have proven past success as a Structural Concrete Estimator as well as the following:
- Create new & continue existing relationships with vendors & suppliers to evaluate their ability to contribute to specific projects
- Analyze vendors on a continual basis to evaluate pricing as well as getting a commitment from them to provide their best price, while keeping with the ECC standard
- Create & manage proposals in accordance with ECC guidelines
- Determine any specifics associated with a job & what equipment may be required
- Prepare bid form & bid proposal letter
- Complete post bid activity
- Follow-up with clients to ensure bid was received & facilitate a smooth close
- Track potential projects until awarded while keeping management up to date on progress
- Keep up with any cost or scope changes during projects
- Collect data on any jobs that were not awarded to ECC to analyze & monitor the competition in the area
- Show exacting attention to detail
