**Job Responsibilities**
Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in concrete and masonry construction projects; perform work in preparing surfaces for concrete
Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, forklifts, skid loaders and other tools as directed by management.
Assist in set forms and wall panel forms
Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches.
Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including concrete, asphalt and dirt.
Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to a member of management.
Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site daily.
Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.
Report incidents immediately to safety director, foreman or HR in accordance with incident reporting procedures established by the company.
**Job Skills & Qualifications**
Valid driver's license
One or more years of experience in construction preferred
Basic math skills to perform calculations while measuring on job sites and to help the surveying crew
Mechanical skills to use the heavy machinery and equipment that is used regularly on construction sites
Physical strength when performing heavy labor that is required from construction workers such as lifting materials
Physical stamina in order to handle the long hours of performing strenuous work during the day in hot or cold weather
Jobs are in the Lehigh Valley and the surround Mid-Atlantic region, so travel is required.
