Job Description
Our client, a Baltimore law firm, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its robust real estate practice group. The incumbent will work on a variety of real estate transactions including development projects.
Responsibilities
- Review title & survey
- Draft transactional documents
- Draft documents relating to a variety of real estate, loan, construction, and corporate matters
- Purchase agreements, leases, loan documents, and standard construction contracts
- Perform legal due diligence including ordering and reviewing UCC, judgment and lien searches, zoning letters, and environmental reports
- Support attorneys and team members as needed
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in a transactional paralegal role
- Real estate experience, including title and survey review experience, strongly preferred
- Ability to meet important deadlines
- Real estate losing experience
- Team player
