Position : LatAm Real Estate Analyst for United States Real Estate
Working Hours: M-F
Salary Range: Competitive salary + bonuses
About the Company
We are a real estate debt and equity brokerage firm. We raise capital by brokering mortgages and placing equity through our established network of capital providers.
Scope of the Role
The Senior Real Estate Analyst will screen new deals (both capital brokerage and acquisitions), create offering memorandums and underwritings, and oversee a team of contract researchers and potentially junior analysts as the team grows.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Screen new deals to determine if they are worth pursuing
- Underwrite deals in Excel including the gathering of data to support assumptions
- Create Excel based offering memorandums
- Create waterfall models
- Create models to analyze the cost of capital
- Speak with tax assessors and insurance brokers to create real estate tax and insurance projections; respectively
- Abstract agreements (leases, franchise, management, loan, operating and other types of agreements)
- Analyze appraisals and create analyses to contest values
- Run STR reports, analyze segmentation, review PACE reports, and evaluate food & beverage metrics for hotels
- Rate shop hotels on their websites and third party booking channels
- Analyze tax returns
- Analyze construction and renovation budgets
- Research and summarize zoning and land use regulations
- Conduct macroeconomic research
- Assist in building and managing deal pipelines
- Update clients’ personal financial statements in Excel
Requirements:
- Fluent at speaking English without a very heavy accent.
- Fluent at writing English.
- Fluent at reading English.
- Can type over 60 words per minute.
- Good at creating systems to keep track of multiple assignments.
- Interested in Commercial Real Estate.
- A computer setup that includes multiple monitors and a high speed internet connection.
- Must be highly familiar with the following terms: DSCR, Debt Yield, LTV, LTC, IRR, Equity Multiple, ROC, Promote
- Minimum of 3 years underwriting multifamily and / or hotel deals
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with Waterfall models
- Highly experienced with Microsoft Excel including knowledge of shortcuts
- Ability to analyze data, step away from the details and present concise conclusions

- Ability to juggle multiple deal
- Preferred: Hubspot, CoStar, Trepp
- Preferred: Bachelor degree in finance, accounting or real estate
