Clinical Laboratory Manager
📍 San Antonio, TX | 💼 Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
💰 $78,000 – $92,000 annually
A leading clinical research organization in San Antonio is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Manager to oversee daily lab operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a skilled team of lab professionals in a high-complexity environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage lab staff and daily workflow in compliance with SOPs and COLA standards
- Train and supervise new hires, ensuring documentation accuracy
- Perform and oversee moderate to high-complexity testing in Chemistry, Hematology, and Urinalysis
- Handle quality control, equipment calibration, inventory, and maintenance
- Support special procedures (e.g., bone marrow aspirations) and send-out/reflex testing
- Ensure data integrity, patient confidentiality, and regulatory compliance
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field
- ASCP-certified MLS
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a high-complexity clinical lab
- Comfortable with manual differentials and venipuncture
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and lab information systems
- Team player with excellent communication and leadership skills
Bonus if you have:
- Hematology, Core Lab, and Phlebotomy experience
- Prior experience leading or mentoring lab teams
