Description We are now accepting resumes/applications for an
EXPERIENCED Class A CDL Hazmat Drivers. This is seasonal positions for Hurricane Relief Work. Duties/Responsibilities may/may not be limited to the following:
Responsibilities: - Safely operate a tanker truck to transport liquid or hazardous materials
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, such as a forklift or pump
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials during transportation
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols
Skills: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with tanker endorsement
- Proven experience as a tanker driver or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of operating and maneuvering large vehicles, such as tractor-trailers
- Familiarity with dump trucks, flatbeds, or other types of freight vehicles is a plus
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is preferred
- Ability to follow directions and navigate routes efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
