Position: Associate Attorney – Civil Defense

Location: Columbia, SC

About Our Client:

Our client is a dynamic law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal defense across a variety of civil litigation areas. They are seeking an Associate Attorney with 1+ years of civil litigation experience to join the team. This role offers the opportunity to handle a diverse range of matters across multiple industries, including retail, construction, trucking, product liability, and governmental affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in civil defense litigation matters across multiple practice areas.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Maintain accurate case files and meet firm expectations, including 1,800 billable hours annually .

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar in good standing.
• 1+ years of experience in civil litigation or defense practice.

Salary and Other Compensation :

The annual salary for this position is between $90k – $130k Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
