Base Location – Morristown, NJ
Duration – 1+ year
Days per week: 3
Shifts: 8:00 AM-8:30pm
On call or weekends required. Yes 1 weeknight/week (7:30pm -7am) and 1 weekend per month of on call only required
Call Back: On Call pay with call requirement
Job Description :
MMC Cath Lab and EP are looking for an RCIS certified OR a licensed RT who has experience scrubbing Interventional Cardiology procedures such as STEMI, PCI, Diagnostic Cardiac Caths.
Duties:
- Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI(STEMI ) and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology procedures, etc.
- Able to monitor, document and calculate hemodynamic data
- Provide procedural assistance to physician, pre, intra and post procedure
- Assess and manage access site, and inform physician
- Adhere to On call protocol for Cath lab
- Prepare patient for procedures
Required Skills:
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist
- RCIS certification preferred
- BLS, ACLS & IABP experience required
- Cardiac Cath lab experience
Preferred Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
