Title: Building Engineer

Location: Indianapolis IN - Downtown

Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire

Shift/Hours: Mon-Fri, 7a-4p / 8a-5p

Direct Reports: None initially; will eventually down the line

Targeted Pay: $30/hr - $35/hr (based on experience/education/certifications)

• Mileage reimbursement at IRS rate

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years' related experience in a commercial property environment
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical experience.
• Professionalism and polish - interface with high-level stakeholders
• Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma / equivalent

Plusses;

• Certifications/licenses/permits (EPA Universal, Journeyman/Master Electrician, etc.)
• Chiller plant background

Day-to-Day:

We are seeking a skilled and personable Building Engineer to join a property management team in downtown Indianapolis. This will primarily support one commercial location, with 2 additional locations in the downtown proximity. This will be a 6 month contract-to-hire position with full intention of conversion to FTE.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintenance, including HVAC and plumbing, and possess strong soft skills to effectively interact with customers on-site. This role will eventually have direct reports down the line.
