The BIM Technician will be responsible for assisting the BIM Coordinators on the design and layout of new construction projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborates with Virtual Design Construction (VDC) Director and design team to create detailed and accurate installation of drawings.
Scan, organize, and populate markups as needed.
Maintain project drawing log.
Collaborate with the VDC team to design and navigate 3D models.
Work with the VDC team to provide installation drawings and updates.
Collaborate with division managers to ensure project deadlines are met.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Revit knowledge a plus
AutoCAD knowledge a plus
Knowledge of construction industry, electrical system knowledge a plus
Knowledge of Navisworks, Bluebeam, BIM Glue, Total Station/Trimble a plus, but not necessary
Strong written and verbal communication skills are beneficial.
Effective organization skills, including the ability to prioritize and plan tasks.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
