PR: 35-45/hr (depending on experience)
Schedule: M-F 8-5pm

Project Overview: B uilding autonomous truck prototypes out Fort Worth facility.
Job Summary:
Insight Global is hiring an Automotive Prototype Build Technicians for an autonomous vehicle manufacturing company. The Technicians will help to set up assembly areas, build prototype components and systems, install those systems on the autonomous trucks, configure and bring up new vehicles, and perform end of line testing and system debugging.
Responsibilities:
- Install autonomous sensors to the trucks (Radars, Lidars, Cameras, Modems, computers, antennas, and other electronic components)
- Install wiring harnesses on the trucks
- Perform repairs according to work instructions and document results
- Take the initiative in understanding, communicating, and resolving any vehicle issues and concerns
- Maintain the machine shop, tools and inventory needed for the shop
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience building prototype or small and/or production run vehicles
- A degree in manufacturing, mechanical, Mechatronics or equivalent field or technicians certificate plus relevant experience and training
- ASE certifications
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electronic components of vehicles
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, and actuators
- AND/OR strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, including wiring schematics, harnesses, and power distribution systems
- A driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as an auto mechanic
- Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs frequently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
