Government Contracts Associate Attorney - Washington DC

Our client, an Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking a Mid-Level Government Contracts Associate to join its Corporate group in their Washington, DC office.

The estimated salary range for this position is $230,000 - $270,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of meaningful experience in the area of government contracts
Strong focus on federal and state bid protests, including GAO, COFC, and agency-level forums, claims experience under the Contract Disputes Act, and counseling matters under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other agency supplements
Experience with legal research, drafting pleadings, and representing clients in all phases of protests, claims and other government-related litigation, as well as advising contractors on government compliance matters
Experience with US Government grants and cooperative agreements is also preferred
Excellent writing and analytical skills
JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
Must be a member in Good Standing with the Washington DC Bar
