Job Details: Assistant Skills Coach

Company Overview: Futures Training Center is the premier baseball and softball training facility on the west coast. For athletes ranging from amateur to professional players, we utilize data and technology to inform training decisions and build development programs for their strength, speed, hitting, pitching, and defensive needs. We focus on creating a world class training experience for the players that trust us with their development by building meaningful relationships and utilizing tech and data at a professional level.

Job Overview : Assist with semi-private hitting, catching or infield sessions where players are given the resources and knowledge to better understand fundamental pieces of their skills and develop a competitive mental approach to their game on the field. Use our our department program and philosophy to optimize training session design and feedback loops for athletes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build relationships and rapport with Futures athletes
• Mentor aspiring athletes on their path to develop and compete at the next level
• Assist with semi-private hitting, catching, or infield sessions and warm-ups
• Accurately collect and communicate data from Hittrax, BLAST Motion, Proteus and Trackman
• Assist in session design
• Maintain facility cleanliness
• Participate in team, individual and department meetings

Qualifications: Assistant Skills Coach

Experience:

• Former high school level or private hitting coach experience (Preferred)
• Former high school or collegiate playing experience (Preferred)

Tech Skills and Programs:

• Familiarity with tech and data, such as Hittrax, BLAST Motion, Trackman and Proteus (Preferred)
• Familiarity with programming and content software, such as Google Workspace Apps and Canva.com (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Logistics and Schedule:

• In-person @ Futures Training Center (Corona, CA)
• Full-time and Part-time options available ( Evenings )
• $18-$21 an hour
