The Assistant Designer will support the design team in creating and developing innovative and trend-driven designs. This role requires a creative and organized individual with a passion for fashion and a strong eye for detail. The Assistant Designer will assist in all stages of the design process, from concept development to final product, ensuring that the brand’s vision and standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
Design:
With Designer, create and maintain tech packs including detailed technical sketches and specifications for each design, ensuring accurate communication to the vendors and product development
Assist in fit sessions, taking notes and making updates after fittings.
Organize and manage seasonal approvals: Fabric/Trims, Lab Dips, Print and Graphic Strike Offs.
Organize and manage seasonal design samples, ensuring they are properly catalogued and stored.
Ensure T/Packs and VLPs are updated and accurate at key milestone dates.
Ensure calendar is adhered to and all deadlines are met.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with Sr. Design Director, Designer and Product Developer, Merchandiser and Production to ensure cohesive and integrated collections.
Assist in preparing presentations of design concepts and collections for senior management and key stakeholders.

This position may require occasional travel to fabric suppliers, manufacturers, and industry events.
The role is a hybrid position with a minimum of 2 in-office days/week and may involve work in various environments depending on design and production activities.
