Role Description

This is a contract role for an Assistant Basketball Coach. The coach will be responsible for supporting the head coach in developing and implementing training programs, organizing practice sessions, and providing on-court guidance during games. The Assistant Basketball Coach will work closely with student-athletes to improve their skills, ensure their well-being, and promote teamwork and sportsmanship. This is an on-site role located in Stanwood, WA.

Qualifications

• Experience in basketball coaching or playing at the high school or higher level
• Strong knowledge of basketball rules, strategies, and techniques
• Ability to develop training programs and conduct practice sessions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes
• First aid and CPR certification is required
• Valid driver's license and ability to transport athletes, if needed
• Commitment to promoting academic and athletic excellence
